Wind River Range lies in the state of Wyoming. The long range of mountains is about 161 km long covering large part of Wyoming State. Wind River Range is part of Rocky Mountains which runs from North West part to south east part of Wyoming State. Gannett Peak is the highest peak in the range of Wind River Range and it is about 4207 m in height. There are more than 40 peaks in Wind River Range which are about 13000ft high. There are two large national forests which occupy large part of the Wind River Range. 5. Northern region of the winds consist of animals like Grizzly bears. Wide variety of flora and fauna is the center of attraction for tourists. Falcons, eagles, mule dear etc are some of the animals found in this region. About 300 species are found in the region covered by Winds. Pine, fur, spruce are found in the region which are popular flora found in this region.
